Rosalie Brooks, Director of Finance and Administration, has worked with Peace Action for over 20 years.  She oversees all financial, administrative and personnel matters.  Mrs. Brooks organizes board financial reports and assists with meeting logistics and contract negotiations.

Peter Deccy, Development Director, joined the staff of SANE in 1983 and started SANE's national canvass program. He then served as Peace Action's Membership Director coordinating direct mail and telemarketing programs for five years, becoming Development Director in 1998. Prior to his work with SANE, Mr. Deccy worked for Citizen Action for seven years.

Judith LeBlanc, Field Director, coordinates efforts on campaigns to cut military spending, nuclear abolition and to oppose the war in Afghanistan. She works closely with Peace Action’s affiliates on grassroots organizing efforts. She helps coordinate the efforts of the New Priorities Network, a national network supporting grassroots organizing to “move the money from wars and weapons to fund human needs.” From 2003- 2009, she worked with United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) coordinating national outreach efforts and served two terms as UFPJ National Co Chair. She is a member of the Caddo Tribe of Oklahoma and lives in Harlem, NY.

Kevin Martin, Executive Director of Peace Action and Peace Action Education Fund, joined the staff on Sept 4, 2001. Martin previously served as Director of Project Abolition, a national organizing effort for nuclear disarmament, from August 1999 through August 2001. Kevin came to Project Abolition after ten years in Chicago as Executive Director of Illinois Peace Action. Prior to his decade-long stint in Chicago, Kevin directed the community outreach canvass for Peace Action (then called Sane/Freeze) in Washington, D.C., where he originally started as a door-to-door canvasser with the organization in 1985. Kevin’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Nation, Los Angeles Times, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Village Voice, The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, The Progressive, Z magazine and many other publications. He has appeared on CNN, National Public Radio, Fox News, MSNBC, BBC-TV and radio, and many other local, national and international radio and television outlets. Kevin has traveled abroad representing Peace Action and the U.S. peace movement on delegations and at conferences in Russia, Japan, China, Mexico and Britain. He is married, with two children, and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Paul Kawika Martin, Political and Communications Director, (no relation to Kevin) has worked with Peace Action in various capacities since 1997. Additionally, he worked with numerous progressive organizations including the Free Burma Coalition and Physicians for Social Responsibility. Mr. Martin worked on a Clinton Presidential Commission and spent a year traveling to twenty countries on Greenpeace ships such as the Rainbow Warrior. His work has appeared in countless international, national and local television, radio and print media outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times and the Christian Science Monitor.  He can be followed on Twitter at @PaulKawika or here on Facebook.

Eric Swanson, Data Manager, Peace Action and Peace Action Education Fund, joined Peace Action, as a member of the phone canvass staff in 1994 and in 1995 became full-time Data Coordinator. He assumed his current position in 1998. In 1996, he served as a youth/student organizer and helped coordinate the founding of the Student Peace Action Network. Mr. Swanson served in the US Army from 1987-1990 and graduated from Illinois State University in 1994 with a BS in Political Science with concentrations in political theory and peace and conflict resolution studies. He lives with his partner in Washington DC.
