May 3 Spring Fair and Sale in Princeton Benefits Twenty Area Charities

The annual Spring Fair and Sale, “Fiesta de Primavera Gigante,” will be held Saturday, May 3 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton to benefit area charities. In addition to a giant flea market, rummage sale, and auction, there will be live music with hamburgers and hot dogs outdoors and a gourmet lunch indoors. Sale booths include books, clothing, computers and other electronics in working condition, videos, plants, art work, jewelry, sports equipment, household items, and baked goods.

Recipients of the proceeds have included Amnesty International, Coalition for Peace Action, Committee on Religious Ministry (Hospital Chaplaincy), Crisis Ministry, Enable, HiTOPS, Hyacinth, Princeton Community Housing, ISLES, Meals on Wheels (Red Cross), Mercer Street Friends, National Association for the Mentally Ill, Planned Parenthood, Princeton HUB, Senior Resource Center, Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Womanspace, and YWCA of Trenton. The Spring Fair benefits all these organizations while providing a fun and value-filled day for all ages.

Hours are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The church is located in Princeton on Cherry Hill Road just off Route 206. For directions, visit www.uuprinceton.org or call 609-924-1604.
