May 3 Spring Fair and Sale in Princeton
Benefits Twenty Area Charities
The annual Spring Fair and Sale, “Fiesta
de Primavera Gigante,” will be held Saturday, May 3 at the
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton to benefit area
charities. In addition to a giant flea market, rummage sale, and
auction, there will be live music with hamburgers and hot dogs outdoors
and a gourmet lunch indoors. Sale booths include books, clothing,
computers and other electronics in working condition, videos, plants,
art work, jewelry, sports equipment, household items, and baked
goods.
Recipients of the proceeds have included Amnesty
International, Coalition for Peace Action, Committee on Religious
Ministry (Hospital Chaplaincy), Crisis Ministry, Enable, HiTOPS,
Hyacinth, Princeton Community Housing, ISLES, Meals on Wheels (Red
Cross), Mercer Street Friends, National Association for the Mentally
Ill, Planned Parenthood, Princeton HUB, Senior Resource Center,
Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen,
Womanspace, and YWCA of Trenton. The Spring Fair benefits all these
organizations while providing a fun and value-filled day for all
ages.
Hours are from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The church
is located in Princeton on Cherry Hill Road just off Route 206.
