Commemorating
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Days

Remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki with Peace Action
This August 6th and 9th will mark the 64th anniversary of the nuclear bombing of two Japanese cities by the United States during World War II. Since those days, Peace Action and allies have led a decades-long campaign to abolish nuclear weapons for good. Still the struggle against these weapons continues. Join Peace Action and the community against nuclear proliferation as we remember the victims of the attacks and renew our vows against the use of nuclear arms.

Get Involved
There are several ways to get involved. Make sure to search for a Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day event in your area by going here. If you've already decided to host a commemoration, please register your event by filling out two simple forms found here. After signing up, others in your area will be able to find your event through our search function. And after you've finished you'll want to follow up by signing our petition to President Obama. A printable version of the petition that you may distribute at the event you attend may be found here.
